At AirHop we are committed to providing an enjoyable and safe visit for all our guests. The following guidance has been created to help guests with additional needs have a fantastic time.
We welcome guests with disabilities and are committed to ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable experience. However, some of our park’s elements are physically demanding. As a result, we may need to restrict access or advise against certain elements if we believe there is a potential risk to an individual’s safety. Guidance from the Health and Safety Executive allows us to restrict or refuse access on the grounds of health and safety and does not constitute discrimination.
We appreciate your understanding and acceptance of these measures, which are designed with your safety in mind.
Dedicated SEN Sessions
Every Monday 6-7pm our parks run SEN Sessions which are perfect for autism groups and for parents looking for activities in a calmer environment. These sessions are capped (fewer people), no music and reduced lighting to avoid glare.
Companion Tickets
If you require assistance due to a disability, we offer a complimentary companion ticket to help make your visit more enjoyable. Here’s what you need to know:
To qualify for a free companion ticket, simply present the relevant documentation along with a valid photo ID of the named recipient which you check-in. Please note, while the guest with the disability receives the free companion ticket, any additional members of their party will be required to pay full price.
Accepted forms of proof of disability include:
- Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book.
- Attendance Allowance or Carer’s Allowance letter of award.
- Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit, Employment Support Allowance (ESA). Disability Student’s Allowance (DSA) or DID card (UK Disabled ID Card)
- A valid Blue Badge.
- In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI).
- Credibility’s Access Card with the Essential Companion/companion symbol.
Please note that we cannot accept letters or care home identification cards as proof of entitlement for an essential companion ticket.
If you have a specific need for a second helper/carer, you may request a second essential companion ticket. Documentation demonstrating the necessity for this additional carer will be required.

- Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64 that states additional carer support.
- Attendance Allowance or Carer’s Allowance letter of award that states additional carer support.
- A registered GP or NHS letter or direct email sent in a secure, non- editable format notifying the recipient requires additional carer support.
- Credibility’s Access Card with the +2 or higher Essential Companion/companion symbol.
There are a few things to note regarding the complimentary Companion Pass:
- The Companion Pass cannot be used without being accompanied by the disabled Passholder it belongs to. This is because the Pass is designed to offer assistance to the disabled guest only.
- There must be at least one responsible adult in the visiting party (the party means the disabled guest and the guest using the Carer Pass) in order for the party to enter the park.
- In order to utilise a Companion Pass, you must be 12+ years of age.
